District Dish – Spring 2012
I am proposing a restaurant based on the food described in The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. With the help of an unofficial cookbook and my love for the series, my coding skills will be the best for this project.
The purpose of this restaurant is to represent the exports of all twelve districts from the fictitious land of Panem based off The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. Besides being delicious, the goal is to also show how the Capitol of the series takes advantage of these districts by exploiting them for all their resources and flaunts their culture.
Fans of the book series would be the natural choice of audience, but also to open people’s taste buds to different dishes. Most of the dishes are not every day-American. For instance, Lamb stew with dried plums is not familiar here in the Western states. Due to plate presentations being up to the unique Capitol fashion points, the audience should dress nicely, or in character!
