As detailed in the About Catalina section, I was born and raised in the valley of the sun, the desert’s urban heart… the “west’s most western town”: Scottsdale.
I grew up during the “Disney Renaissance” and embraced the princess aesthetic: pinks, rainbows, metallics, etc. My parents also encouraged this lifestyle by calling me their little princess.
Fast forward to my teen years, when I learn to sew, princesses and royalty were definite inspirations for my cosplay and fashion.
I found similar renaissance style fonts to retype it, outline it, and fill with sparkles!
In 2016, the Once Upon a Time graphic resurfaced in my life and clung back to my mind. I started with locking down my Instagram, but wanted to be able to post more… so I found that the domain was available and adopted it!
